This is a Metal Slide and Outer Barrel set suitable for various pistol types as described in the drop down box below. Metal slides offer a much greater level of satisfaction when using your airsoft pistol. The airsoft pistol is heavier and so is more stable when holding. The finish is excellent and it makes the airsoft pistol look great - far better than the dull plastic finish. The noise generated with the metal slide is much chunkier and sounds top notch!
A metal slide is great for a pistol which is used on more powerful gas. If you fear a broken slide or have experienced a broken plastic slide, you will want to upgrade to a metal slide. They are much stronger than the plastic slide and will outlast any standard plastic slides when run on higher power gas.
If you upgrade to a metal slide, it is advised to upgrade your magazine valves and pistol springs for best performance.
A metal slide and outer barrel does require a small amount of installation - you should be capable of removing the slide from your own pistol before attempting the upgrade. If you would like any advice please contact us.
